Because Community Matters

The Hearing Place team love being able to support our local community and give a little back, when we can. In the past we have made multiple donations to KEY (Kitchen for Everyone York), Kyra Women’s Project and most recently The Do Drop Inn, Haxby. We usually do this to celebrate any award wins that we may have achieved. We have been nominated for, and won, multiple awards. You can read all about them on this page.

How common is hearing loss in the UK?

Hearing loss is really common. According to Action on Hearing Loss, 12 million people in the UK are affected by hearing loss, that’s 1 in 6 of us.
